The material on these pages was downloaded from the former leicestershirevillages.com website. That site was closed down on 1st September 2016 because of funding cuts by the sponsor, Leicestershire County Council. Before that, the County Council had encouraged communities to download any material considered of interest. For Woodhouse and Woodhouse Eaves it was felt that the historical information, including the "virtual museum" created mainly by Brian Axon (former Chair of the local history group) was of particular value and should be preserved along with more current local pictures and some other information. Note that non-historical material may be significantly out of date. Do not rely on it!
